10K ROUTE
The start takes place on Bow Avenue (at Caribou Street) alongside the beautiful Bow River. The runners will travel north to the end of Bow Avenue and directly on to the Bow River Trail. When the trail ends, runners will turn left (north) on to Norquay Road and then left (west) on to Vermilion Lakes Road. Once on Vermilion Lakes Road, the runners will travel approximately 4km along the magnificent lakes to the turnaround point just past the Vermilion Lakes Aid Station (Aid Station #2). The return trek will travel along the same route, and once the runners reach the end of Vermilion Lakes Road (at Norquay Road), they will utilize the connector trail parallel to Norquay Road, then the Bow River Trail to return to Central Park for the finish.
